I told B that today was "his" day. It's been a while since he's had a day off from work during the week, so I wanted him to do whatever he wanted. This is what he chose:
-Coco Dyno Bites for breakfast and NOT icky Kashi cereal, which is causing some intestinal discomfort. (I don't think he'll like that I posted that.) Which reminds me of B running after an old lady's shopping cart at the grocery store this morning, because she was talking to the produce guy about their corn and didn't even realize it had rolled right out into the road. He ran after it and pulled it up to where she was. She hardly noticed anything had happened. She said goodbye to the produce guy, grabbed her cart, and went straight to her car. It was like something you would see in a movie. I giggled and giggled and giggled.
-Watched Inception from Netflix. B had to keep pausing it to answer all my questions.
-Had Zupas salad and sandwiches for lunch.
-Played Hand and Foot Foot with my family. While we were getting ready, I asked B what he wanted to do today. I was surprised to hear that his Labor Day dream was to win a game of Hand and Foot Foot. Too cute. I quickly made the call to my sisters and set up the time to play. Unfortunately, he didn't win...we played twice. But I think he still had a good time. Except for an insane and terrible TV show called "Dance Moms" that my family had on after we finished. I'm just going to say one thing about it, because it's not worth any more of my time: I was completely disgusted at how awful and vicious the women were. And the ugly examples they are setting for their young daughters. That's all.
HAPPY LABOR DAY Y'ALL!
P.S. Dad brought down a coupon for the one and only SLC GREEK FESTIVAL! Can you believe it's been a year?
