While feeling a bit better this morning and still awaiting sister's arrival,
I thought I would do our nursery reveal!
Note: We seriously spent about $250 for the entire nursery. That includes crib, wall and ceiling decor, pillow, curtains, crib bedding, changing pad cover, side table and lamp shade.
The changing table and rocker we already had from the twins. The mirror we got as a wedding gift 4 years ago and decided to spray paint it gold.
The lamp base I got on clearance from Target like a year ago for about $7 and spray painted the bottom yellow. The side table I found at DI and I only had to clean it up with a magic eraser and some vinegar and water. The pillow my mom found at Gordman's on sale for about $15.
The crib and mattress are from IKEA, the bedding and curtains from Target and Wal-Mart. The bee decals on the wall are probably my absolutely favorite part of the nursery and I found them on Etsy. They were $25 for 48 decals. (Shout out to B for using his amazing brain to figure out the pattern and arranging them perfectly!)
Another favorite part of this room are these little "honey pots" hanging from the ceiling. If you know Cori (my mom), you know she has this amazingly creative brain and we were walking around Wal-Mart garden center when she saw these grey planting pots and had this idea to paint them the colors of the nursery and hang them over the crib instead of a generic mobile. Brilliant. We left the inside grey. (FYI, my general contractor father hung these babies and they are SECURE. Just in case there was worry about honey pots falling on baby sister! They are pretty light, but we didn't take any chances.)
The ABC sign my mom found a while ago on clearance at Smith's Market Place and we sprayed it gold and the canvas I found at Hobby Lobby on sale for $15. Curtains we found at Target $14.99 for each panel. We used twine left over from the hanging the pots to tie the bows.
I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out. A HUGE thanks to parents, in-laws, and amazing husband for making my ideas come to life! The boys love to come into the nursery... in fact, it's Finn's favorite place to poop in private (in his diaper, folks. Just making that clear.) :)
Okay little girl, we're ready for you! Come any time. Seriously.
