Another one for the books.

Tonight found us at the one and only SLC GREEK FESTIVAL! Since this is the very place I first met B, it has significant meaning for both of us. We decided we would use our date night to celebrate 1 year from when we met.

We ate Gyros, Pastitsio, Spanakopita, and stood at the end of a long line for Loukoumades (a donut-like dessert), but we skipped out when B promised me a Frosty instead of waiting in another line. I agreed.

It was fun to watch the dancers, look at the art being sold in the gymnasium, and walk around the Greek Orthodox church. It really brought back memories of awkward flirting and "getting-to-know-you" conversations between B and I. I looked at him as we stood in line for food and felt so SO grateful I made the little decision to "tag along" with a friend on a Saturday night, 1 year ago. How things came together for us...it's all Greek to me! But, I do know it was the right choice and I find myself more and more in love with that choice every day.

(As you can see, B is modeling for BYU this time, instead of his traditional Aggies shirt.
1 year has done him good!)
